HUNTSVILLE, Utah, Jan. 1, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from multiple agencies responded to a large barn fire in Huntsville overnight as 2020 gave way to 2021.

“Weber Fire District is working a fully involved barn fire,” says a tweet issued by the agency at 1:03 a.m. Friday.

“Fire came in just before midnight, and was already fully involved on first engines arrival. There are no hydrants in this area, so we are shuttling water.”

The barn was in the area of 800 South and 8600 East.

“Fire is now under control,” says a tweet posted at 2:05 a.m. “Crews will remain overnight to ensure fire is out.

“Investigators will be out at first light for cause. We appreciate the help of Ogden City, Weber Co. Sheriffs, and Morgan Fire.”

The post said the cause of the fire was unknown.
