WEBER COUNTY, Utah, April 11, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Weber Fire and three automatic-aid partners responded to a residential fire on Highway 39 on Thursday.
“The initial reported indicated an orange glow was visible from the ceiling,” the Weber Fire statement says.
“Upon arrival, crews made entry and encountered a smoky haze, along with charring of the ceiling around the chimney.
“Firefighters pulled the ceiling, starting closes to the chimney, located hotspots, and extinguished them.”
There were no injuries, the Weber Fire statement says. The initial investigation suggested the fire was accidental.
Weber Fire District was assisted by Ogden City Fire, South Ogden Fire and Mountain Green Fire.
