MURRAY, Utah, Dec. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Murray police are releasing more information after a robber in a black business suit and a shiny skeleton mask allegedly robbed a Murray Subway at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

Murray Police Sgt. Marvin Barlow told Gephardt Daily the incident happened at the Subway at 94 E. 4500 South just before 5 p.m.

Barlow said a younger male entered the sandwich shop, demanded money and fired one round from a revolver. That round hit a wall, Barlow said.

The suspect then ordered the two employees, one of whom is pregnant, into a back room and left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect headed southbound on State Street in a dark green passenger car.

No one was injured in the course of the incident.

A tweet from Murray police Wednesday morning said the suspect’s car is a 1998-2002 Honda Accord and the weapon was a .410 revolver.

“An image of a similar mask is attached with an actual image of the car,” the tweet said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Murray Police Department on 801-840-4000.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
