MURRAY, Utah, Nov. 14, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Murray Police investigators are hoping to identify a man wanted for questioning in connection with a sex offense involving a 17-year-old girl that occurred earlier this month.

Officials said that a man reportedly inappropriately touched the girl, who was shopping at Burlington Coat Factory, at 5976 S. State St., on Nov. 5, at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The man then attempted to pull her into one of the bathrooms, officials said.

The 17-year-old managed to get away and reported the incident to police. She said she didn’t recognize the man.

The Murray Police Department tweeted a surveillance picture of a man they wish to talk to, as well as a car that the man is thought to have been driving.

He has short, dark hair and is wearing a dark jacket with a patterned T-shirt underneath, and tan pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Murray police at 801-264-2673.
