SPRINGDALE, Utah, April 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Narrows in Zion National Park are closed due to high flow in the river, officials said Wednesday.

Park officials tweeted the news:

“Spring snowmelt causes the Virgin River through the Narrows to become unsafe. In an average year, it is likely that the Narrows will remain closed into late May.”
