LDS Mission President's Wife Dies In Africa

ACCRA, GHANA – November 9. 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The wife of a mission president for the LDS Church has died while serving in Accra, Ghana.

According to a statement released to the media by LDS Church spokesman Eric Hawkins, Ruth Raelene Hill, 64, wife of President Norman C. Hill, passed away Sunday due to an unnamed medical condition.

The Hills had served together in Ghana since July 2013. Prior to their calling in Africa they worked in the Texas Houston Mission.

Ruth Hill was born Ogden, Utah.

She leaves behind five children.
