NEW OVERNIGHT: Unified Police Locate Missing 86-Year-Old Man

UPDATE: September 1, 2015 – Mr. Holman was located overnight and is back with his family.

SALT LAKE COUNTY, UTAH – August 31, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Unified Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 86-year-old man who has been missing since early Monday morning.

Charles “Bob” Holman was last seen around 8:30 a.m. as he left home in Holladay to visit the Big O Tires store at 8830 South 900 East. When he failed to return home by noon as expected his family called police.

Bob was last seen wearing blue T-shirt with the phrase “Big-Daddy-O” on it. He was driving a tan 2006 Buick Lucerne four-door sedan with Utah license plate 986 USG.

Police say Holman is a diabetic who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. They say he left home without his medication and could be in danger.

Anyone with information on Mr. Holman’s whereabouts is asked to call the Unified Police Department at 801-743-7000.
