SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 13, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Fire Info has announced a new wildfire in San Juan County.
The Verdure Creek Fire was first reported on X at about noon Sunday in a Utah Fire Info post that said it stood at “20+ acres & growing” and was threatening a nearby subdivision.
The next update came at 4:14 p.m., and said acreage by then was estimated “at 100+ acres.
“Air resources are on scene. Structures remain threatened,” the later post said.
