WEST JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A reward up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two suspects police say stole nine guns and a safe from a West Jordan firearms store.

West Jordan Police Sgt. Joe Monson said the incident happened at about 7 a.m. on Nov. 5 at Flawless Firearms, 6708 S. Airport Road (4700 West), when two men, captured on  surveillance footage, forced entry into the store.

When police and the store owners arrived, they found that nine guns, including two machine guns, and a safe with two silencers and business paperwork had been stolen.

The two suspects were wearing hoodies, full face masks, and gloves.  After a short time inside the business, the suspects loaded the guns into a white, older-model SUV.

Monson said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the West Jordan Police Department are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information.

“It’s important we get those guns back into the right hands,” said Monson.

Anyone with any information about the stolen guns can call the ATF at 1-800-283-4867 or West Jordan police at 801-840-4000.
