Oakley City Lifts Boil Water Order
OAKLEY, SUMMIT COUNTY, May 21, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A boil water order issued for everyone on the Oakley City Water System Wednesday afternoon was lifted Thursday night. Oakley residents are advised to run tap water for at least 15 minutes prior to drinking.
Officials say it is possible that storm water infiltrated the culinary system.
A representative for the city said the the entire system would be flushed Thursday and more samples would be gathered. The water was tested again in 24 hours, and the samples came out clean, so the boil order was lifted.
