WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials from multiple agencies worked together to assist a moose who got stuck between U.S. Highway 40 and a fence Thursday.

A Facebook post from Utah Conservation Officers Association said Wasatch County dispatch contacted one of its officers about the moose who had become stuck in the fence.

“Our officer responded and realized that the moose would need to be sedated,” the post said. “Utah Division of Wildlife Resources biologists, conservation officers and UHP troopers all helped in sedating and transporting the moose. The moose was successfully transported to the wild.”

The moose was not injured, the post said.
