TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Feb. 16, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for a suspect after a bank robbery in Taylorsville Tuesday morning.

Unified Police Department Sgt. Melody Cutler told Gephardt Daily the incident took place at the KeyBank at 1949 W. 4700 South just after 11 a.m.

A Caucasian man in his mid-30s requested and was given an undisclosed amount of money, Cutler said. No weapon was seen.

The man is described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build, with blond hair and blue eyes, and was wearing all black clothing, tan boots and a black COVID-19 mask.

He fled on foot in an unknown direction, Cutler said.

It is likely the bank will release surveillance photographs of the suspect imminently.

Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to call UPD on 801-743-7000.
