DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, Feb. 6, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Davis County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest in an ATM fraud case.

“These two males have been seen on surveillance cameras at multiple locations, including ATMs from several credit unions and banks, within and outside of Davis County,” a news release from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office said.

A skimming device was located on one ATM machine in the Salt Lake Valley, the news release said. That gave PIN information for many cards, fake versions of which were then swiped in multiple locations throughout Davis County, one of which was the Horizon Credit Union in West Point.

“Numerous people have been victimized and some victims may not know they are victims yet,” the news release said. “Thousands of dollars have been stolen.”

The suspects are driving two different vehicles, a 2005 blue Mercury Montego, license place 569LV, and a 2007 green Volvo, model XC70, license plate F672MP.

Anyone who recognizes one or both of the men or has other relevant information is asked to contact the Davis County Sheriff’s Office at 801-451-4TIP.
