Report: Hiker falls from Angels Landing trail in Zion National Park

ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah, Nov. 20, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office had a report Wednesday night that a Zion National Park visitor fell from an elevated trail.

Lt. David R. Crouse, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, said officials are working to verify the information and look for a possible victim.

“At approximately 7:40 p.m. this evening, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Zion National Park Rangers regarding reports of an individual who fell from the Angels Landing trail,” the statement says.

“Investigators are working alongside the park rangers to verify the information and locate the possible victim. Additional details will be available in the morning.”
