IRON COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 18, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The driver of a semi truck that hit another semi from the back died Sunday morning at the scene in Iron County.
Utah Highway Patrol learned of the incident at about 3:33 a.m., and responded to the scene, on Interstate 15 near milepost 85, north of Paragonah.
Both semis were northbound, a UHP statement says.
“A semi was traveling in the right lane. Another semi was also traveling northbound, approaching the first semi.
“For an unknown reason, the semi rear ended the other, veered off the right shoulder and rolled. The driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.”
