MILLCREEK, Utah, Jan. 23, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — One man is on the run and another is in critical condition after an early morning wreck in Millcreek, police said.

Officials said the crash happened at 3300 S. 2300 East at about 2:30 a.m. when a black vehicle was heading northbound on 2300 East and a red truck coming eastbound ended up in the center of the intersection for an unknown reason.

Unified Police Lt. Dan McConkey said the truck then spun and crashed into a building, and the driver ran. The two men in the black vehicle were transported to the hospital—one in critical and one in fair condition.

McConkey said police do not know yet why the driver of the truck ran, but it is likely he will be facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident.
