BLUFFDALE, Utah, Jan. 18, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Interstate 15 northbound in Bluffdale has reopened after a multi-vehicle collision Saturday morning.
“It looks like about 10 vehicles were involved, and there was a domino effect, crashing one into another,” Cpl. Luis Silva, Utah Highway Patrol, told Gephardt Daily.
The collision happened at about 9 a.m. near the 14600 South exit.
“The freeway was closed for a little while, but has since fully reopened,” Silva said at about 11:10 a.m. “There was one individual that was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
Factors contributing to the crash likely include the slick, snowy roadway, Silva said.
