OREM, Utah, Dec. 26, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Orem police are on the scene of a fatal industrial accident.
A Facebook post from Orem Police Department at 6:15 p.m. Thursday said the incident occurred in the area of 500 South Carterville Road.
“A male has been injured while working on a dump truck; his condition is not known at this time,” the post said.
“This is an active scene and updates will be given later.”
A follow-up Facebook post at 7 p.m. said: “The male in this incident has passed away due to his injuries.”
The man has not been identified pending identification of family.
