Orem woman arrested on drug, child-endangerment charges

OREM, Utah, Aug. 22, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An Orem woman arrested a month ago on drug distribution charges was arrested again Wednesday night on similar charges, with the addition of child endangerment.

Sarah Lindsay Lewis, 29, was arrested after agents with theĀ Utah Department of Adult Probation and Parole made a visit to her residence. Detectives with Provo and Utah County Sheriff’s Office narcotics teams assisted AP&P Agents.

During the visit 19 grams of methamphetamine were found. That amount is approximately 190 individual doses.

During the visit Agents and Detectives found evidence that a child had been in the home and may have been exposed to drugs or drug paraphernalia.

Lewis is being held in the Utah County Jail on the following charges:

  • Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a second-degree felony
  • Endangerment of a child, a third-degree felony
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanor.

Lewis is also being held on an AP&P hold.
