Paraglider Pilot Improving After Crash On Old Mill Golf Course

HOLLADAY, UTAH – August 10, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The pilot of a paraglider who was seriously injured Sunday evening after crashing near the 12th hole of the Old Mill Golf Course at 6080 South Wasatch Boulevard is still in serious condition but slowly improving.

According to Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell, the pilot sustained serious injuries that are going to be take time to overcome but he is expected to be ok.

Lt. Bell said the two paragliders were flying sixty feet above the course when one of their chutes suddenly collapsed sending the pilot crashing to the ground.

The injured paraglider was flown to by Life Flight to an area hospital. He was reported in serious condition.

Both paragliders are believed to have launched from the Point of the Mountain Aerial Park.
