WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah, May 26, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue crews were dispatched Sunday morning on a report of a paraglider who had crashed near the Blue Springs Reservoir area near Kolob Mountain.
The call came in just before 8 a.m.
Because of the distance to the remote location, Intermountain LifeFlight was called in to assist.
“LifeFlight made initial contact with the patient, and then our crews arrived to assist with patient care,” says a statement issued by Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue. Washington County Sheriff troopers also responded to the scene to help.
“The patient was transported by LifeFlight for injuries sustained in the crash.” Their condition was not revealed.
