Paraglider crashes in Cache County, is hospitalized for broken bones

CACHE COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 1, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A 29-year-old paraglider was airlifted to McKay-McKay-Dee Dee Hospital after he crashed into a field in Logan.

Cache County Sheriff deputies and medical first responders were called to the scene, near 2900 W. 600 South, at about 11 a.m. Tuesday.

“The victim had several fractured bones and was transported to Logan Regional Hospital, and subsequently airlifted to McKay-Dee Hospital,” the Sheriff’s statement says.

“According to two juvenile witnesses, this appears to be an accident.”

The injured party is from Boulder, in Garfield County.
