Park City police ID Utah man killed in Deer Valley ski accident

PARK CITY, Utah, March 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A skier at Deer Valley Resort hit a tree and died on Tuesday.

The Park City Police Department has identified the victim as 62-year-old Paul Neff Brown, from Midway.

The accident was reported at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Deer Valley Ski patrol responded to the area, in Empire Canyon area, as did Park City Police and fire officials. Brown died at the scene.

An obituary says, in part, that Brown “passed from this life the way he loved living it: skiing with his family.

“Paul’s faith, kindness and courage touched everyone he met throughout his life. He loved orthodontics, motorcycles, Swiss chocolate, hiking and fishing.”
