IRON COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 6, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A Parowan man has been arrested on four first degree felony charges related to the abuse of two children.
Robert Randall Titensor, 39, was taken into custody Monday and will face charges of:
- One count of aggravated sexual abuse (object rape), punishable upon conviction with a sentence of 15 years to life
- Three counts of sodomy on a child, each punishable upon conviction with a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
Parowan Police Chief Ken Carpenter told Gephardt Daily that when questioned by an investigator, Titensor confessed to his guilt in all four incidents. Carpenter said the victims were a very young boy and girl, but to protect their privacy, he confirmed only that they were younger than 14.
The incidents referenced in the indictment are alleged to have happened between May and August of this year. Titensor’s trial date is pending.
