PAYSON, Utah, Sept. 23, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Even when they’re busy battling wildfires, local fire departments are also responding to medical and fire calls in town.

On Saturday, Payson Fire and Rescue was called to the scene of a motor home going up in flames in a Wendy’s parking lot.

They posted on Facebook:

While our page has focused on the Bald Mountain Fire the last week, which we have committed 5 pieces of apparatus and 13 firefighters to for 24 hours a day the last 10 days, we still have calls here in town.

Tonight a motor home burned in the Wendy’s parking lot. Engine 94, Truck 91, and Ambulance 91 responded operating under the command of Chief Reilly.

Payson Fire and Rescue said their crews have typically gone out on six medical calls and two fire calls each day during the Bald Mountain Fire.
