OREM, Utah, Nov. 2, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Orem officials are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the “Phantom Dumper” who has been dumping a non-toxic material into the city’s sewer system.

Orem City said in a news release the disposals have been occurring every week for the past several months.

“Someone is illegally dumping a fibrous (paper, clothing, cardboard, or something similar) material into Orem’s sewer system,” the news release said. “It is costing the City of Orem nearly $4,000 in man hours each week to clean up. Please lead us to the ‘Phantom Dumper’ so that we can prevent this unnecessary clogging and waste of time and money.  This has to stop!”
