VERNAL, Utah, May 23, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Vernal woman has been arrested for investigation of aggravated murder after the March death of a 3-year-old child.
A news release from Vernal Police Department said Mckenley Yadon, 24, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Uintah County Jail for aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, and child abuse, a second-degree felony.
“This arrest was the result of an investigation which began with the suspicious death of a 3-year-old child on March 14,” the news release said.
More details will be released by the Vernal Police Department at a news conference on Sunday at 10 a.m.
Officials did not say what the relationship was between Yadon and the child.
