SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 31, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are asking the public to share any relevant information, photos or video after a stabbing Tuesday morning at 178 S. Rio Grande St.
The call was dispatched at 9:46 a.m., and “Officers and paramedics arrived on scene and found a man with a stab wound. Officers on scene provided lifesaving efforts. Paramedics transported the man to the hospital in serious but stable condition.”
Based on the preliminary investigation, officers believe the stabbing happened near 200 South 500 West “during an argument between two people,” the SLCPD news release says. “After the stabbing, both the suspect and the patient walked away.”
No arrests have been made, and there is no suspect information to provide, the statement says, adding “Anyone with information on this case, including having photos or video, is asked to call 801-799-3000.”
