HEBER CITY, Utah, Jan. 28, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A Heber City man who police say was high on meth and marijuana, and who threatened to kill family members with a machete, was taken into custody on Friday.

Rodolfo Humberto Acosta, 51, made threats to kill his wife, his 18-year-old child, and his sister-in-law with the machete, according to information released on the Heber City Police Department Facebook page.

Acosta then drove to his wife’s workplace and tried to force her into his vehicle, according to the HCPD statement.
