UPDATE: Suspects In Custody After Violent Strong-Arm Robbery In Layton, Clearfield

LAYTON, Utah, July 18, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Both suspects suspected in a string of violent strong-arm robberies, vehicle burglaries and a vehicle theft, are now in custody.

According to the Layton City Police Department Facebook, Michael Thomson, 20, turned himself in on Sunday and Cortland Nebekar, 20, was arrested at his home Monday morning.

Both are suspects in the assault and robbery of a victim in Layton, and are also believed to have committed several vehicle burglaries and stolen a car in West Point.

Then both are believed to have robbed a man at gunpoint in Clearfield.

Police had considered the pair to be considered armed and dangerous and had put out a request for the public to help locate them Sunday morning.
