Police In West Valley City Use Tattoos To Identify Female Homicide Victim

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Feb. 26, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified the woman killed Thursday night in West Valley City as 21-year-old Hope Gabaldon.

Police found the critically injured Gabaldon just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday near 3100 South and 4000 West. She was rushed to an area hospital where she later died.

Gabaldon’s identity was a mystery to police until they released photos of her tattoos to the public. She was identified through a tip a short while later.

Investigators have collected evidence at the scene of what they’re calling “a violent attack.”

They are also while searching for Gabaldon’s missing vehicle — a silver 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Utah license plate W663BR.
