Police Seek Suspect After Aggravated Assault

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – November 2, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are searching for a suspect who got frustrated after he tried to rob a store and had difficulty in making the clerk understand his intentions.

A press release from Salt Lake City Police Department said the aggravated robbery took place at the 7-Eleven at 790 East 900 West Monday morning at 4:55 a.m.

The suspect entered the store with his hand in his pocket intimating he had a gun. The suspect demanded money,but due to a language barrier, the clerk was unable to understand the suspect. The suspect became frustrated and started knocking items off the shelf before leaving southbound on foot.

The suspect was described as a white man with short dark hair, black shorts, a black shirt, oversized camo jacket, white socks and black shoes.
