Update: Victims of double-fatal crash in Millcreek identified

MILLCREEK, Utah, Sept. 10, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified two people killed Saturday morning in a head-on collision at 700 E. 4200 South in Millcreek.

The deceased are Francisco Perez-Olvera, 42, and Summer Dudley, 27, Unified Police Department said.

Investigators on scene told Gephardt Daily the accident happened around 6:30 a.m., when a northbound passenger vehicle appeared to have drifted into the southbound lanes of 700 East and collided with a Suburban SUV.

Medical personnel from the Unified Fire Authority attempted to render first aid, but both drivers died at the scene.

Lt. Brian Lohrke, of the UPD, said the official cause of the crash remains under investigation, but it did not appear drugs or alcohol were involved.
