Police investigating after alleged robbery, stabbing in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 3, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Police officers are investigating after a 21-year-old man said he was stabbed and robbed early Thursday morning.

Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release the incident reportedly happened at about 3:45 a.m. in the area of 257 W. 300 South.

The victim told police he was stabbed in the stomach and three males also took his personal items. The victim did not have any description of the suspects. He was transported to a local hospital with a stomach wound. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
