KEARNS, Utah, Jan. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are responding to reports of shots fired in the area of 5400 South and 5300 West in Kearns Tuesday morning.
Unified Police Department spokesman Lt. Brian Lohrke tweeted the shooting was reported just before 5:15 a.m., and shell casings were found at the scene.
No victims were found and there was no reported property damage, Lohrke said.
Eastbound 5400 South is closed while police investigate the incident, and is expected to reopen at approximately 8 a.m., according to a tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation.
