SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 25, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The body of a man was found Monday morning in a driveway in the Liberty Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City, in the area of 1700 South and 300 East.
Salt Lake City police were called to the scene at about 6:40 a.m. The circumstances surrounding the man’s death have been deemed suspicious.
“The manner of death is unknown and will be determined by an autopsy, the identity of the person is also unknown at this time,” an SLCPD news release says.
“Currently, it is believed the person is a middle-aged male. If you have any information that may assist with this investigation, please call 801-799-3000 and reference case number 26-115406.”
Police believe there is no related risk to the public.
