SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 21, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating the robbery of a pharmacy Tuesday night in Salt Lake City.
“We can confirm we’re investigating a robbery at this point,” the Salt Lake City Police Department PR unit said just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
No weapons were apparent, “however, it’s unknown if there was a threat involved, so it may be a theft.”
Police declined to comment on what was stolen.
“It’s not appropriate at this time to disclose any further information.”
The incident was dispatched at 7:17 p.m., reportedly involving the pharmacy at the Fresh Market at 2040 S. 2300 East. The suspect is believed to be a male in his 20s, wearing a black hood, a mask and white gloves. He fled on foot.
