SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Oct. 13, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) – Police in Springville are searching for a gunman who shot and wounded another man inside the victim’s home late Sunday afternoon.
In an interview Sunday night, Lt. Foster, public information officer for the Springville Police Department, told Gephardt Daily officers were called to the scene of the shooting near 1327 West 50 North about 5:10 p.m.
When police arrived, they found an adult male who had been shot three times.
“The suspect ran north from the scene; multiple agencies convened in the area, looking for the suspect, but were unable to find him,” Foster said.
“The scene was secured and the victim transported to the hospital. It is believed he will recover from his injuries.”
Foster said it was yet to be determined if the shooting was a random event or if the victim was intentionally targeted.
