Police Search for Suspects in Early Morning Robbery

suspectSALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – April 22, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for two men who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened at 3:58 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 111 W. 800 South in Salt Lake City.

Police say the men, one who was carrying a gun, threatened the clerk, grabbed cash from the register as well as some beer, and then fled on foot. The clerk was not injured.

Suspect descriptions:

Suspect# 1:

·         Hispanic male

·         23-26 years old

·         slim build, 5’7” tall, 140 lbs

·         brown hair, brown eyes

·         bandana over the face

·         wearing black sweatshirt with gray writing, blue jeans, dark ball cap

Suspect# 2:

·         Hispanic male

·         early 20’s

·         5’6” tall, 170 lbs,medium build

·         brown eyes, brown hair

·         green bandana over his face

·         dark sweater, dark ball cap. Both suspects may have been wearing gloves.
