Search Is On For Two Escapees From S.L. County Juvenile Detention Facility
South Salt Lake – June 7, 2015Â (Gephardt Daily) –Â Police across the state of Utah are on the lookout for two 17-year olds who escaped from the Salt Lake County Juvenile Detention Facility Saturday.
According to a press release from South Salt Lake Police Department, the two males were able to crawl beneath one fence at the facility at 3450 So. 900 West before scaling a second security fence and making their way to freedom.
Both teens are identified as Honduran nationals.
Yuvine Eusada-Alvares, is described as a Hispanic male, age 17, five feet tall, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The second escapee, Jonathan Grandes-Maves, also a Hispanic male, 17 years-old, 5′ 7″, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The teens were last seen wearing standard detention center uniforms with blue pants, gray t-shirts and white shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information on the juveniles’ whereabouts to call South Salt Lake Police Dispatch at 801-840-4000.
