Police searching for 5 suspects after men assaulted in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for five suspects after two victims were allegedly assaulted and had their property taken in Salt Lake City Monday morning.

The incident took place in the area of 400 S. Cheyenne St. at approximately 7 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“Two men were approached by five male suspects in a red SUV,” the news release said. “The victims were assaulted and had their property taken. One of the suspects is described as a Polynesian male adult and a second suspect is described as white male adult.”

The victims, who were treated for minor injuries, were not able to provide any further description of the suspects.
