MURRAY, Utah, Dec. 10, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a robber in a black business suit and a shiny skeleton mask following an armed robbery in Murray in which one shot was fired Monday afternoon.

Murray Police Sgt. Marvin Barlow told Gephardt Daily the incident happened at the Subway at 94 E. 4500 South just before 5 p.m.

Barlow said a younger male entered the sandwich shop, demanded money and fired one round from a gun that appeared to be a revolver. That round hit a wall, Barlow said.

The suspect then ordered employees into a back room and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured in the course of the incident.

Barlow said the suspect then headed southbound on State Street in a dark green passenger car.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
