Police searching for suspect after robbery at dry cleaner’s in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a dry cleaner’s in St. George in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to Lee’s Cleaners, at 1156 E. 700 S. #5, after a report of a robbery at approximately 4 a.m., St. George Police Department said in a news release on Facebook.

The owner of the business called 911 and reported a male struck him in the head with a blunt object, stole property and fled the business, the statement said.

Officers arrived on scene within three minutes and found the injured owner, who was transported by Gold Cross ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Investigators also responded to process the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build, wearing a bandanna.
