AMERICAN FORK, Utah, April 11, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — An endangered man from American Fork returned home safe Monday after being missing for a week.

Michael “Mike” Sean McAllister, 44, returned to his residence and was found there by a family member, according to a press release from the American Fork Police Department.

McAllister’s mother was in Colorado searching for her son when the family member saw that he had returned home and called to let her know. She then informed police that he was safe.

Police said McAllister is uninjured and unharmed, but officials have not said where he was.

According to a police news release on Facebook, McAllister was last seen on the morning of April 2 in American Fork.

He was driving a vehicle, and police say it’s possible that McAllister traveled to DeBeque or Parachute, Colo., or the Denver area.

McAllister has multiple medical conditions that require medication. He also has a diminished mental capacity.
