Police Seek Suspect After Chase Bank Robbery

TAYLORSVILLE, UTAH – October 19, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are searching for a female wearing “a ton of make-up” who robbed a Chase Bank in Taylorsville Monday morning.

The Unified Police Department (UPD) said the suspect entered the bank at 5656 S. Redwood Road around 9 a.m., presented a note to the teller and told the teller to comply and no one would get hurt. The suspect then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No vehicle was seen, and officers immediately started searching the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate her.  No one was injured during the robbery.

The teller described the female suspect as wearing “a ton of make-up”, so that all of her face, including her lips, was covered with foundation. The suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt, tan pants, a black wig and large black sunglasses with round lenses. The suspect did not have an accent of any kind.
