Police seek suspect after robbery in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect after a Domino’s Pizza on Redwood Road was robbed Monday night.

The incident occurred at the pizza chain at 1228 S. Redwood Road at approximately 9:05 p.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“The clerk was working the front counter when the suspect walked in and ordered a pizza, when asked for payment the suspect asked for the money from the register,” the news release said. “The suspect indicated that he had a weapon.”

The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as being in his 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a raspy voice and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was wearing a blue or black jacket, black hat, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
