Police Seek Suspect After Sandy Chase Bank Robbery

SANDY, Utah, Dec. 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a suspect who demanded and was given money from a teller at a Chase Bank in Sandy Tuesday afternoon.

Sandy Police said a white male walked into the Chase Bank located at 8950 South 1300 East and demanded money from a teller at the counter.  No weapon was threatened or seen.  The teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.  The suspect left the bank in an unknown direction and no vehicle was seen.

The suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build.  He appeared to be in his early 30’s.  The suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a plaid jacket over it, brown cargo pants, a black mask (balaclava) covering his mouth, and black sunglasses with reflective lenses.
