HARRISVILLE, Utah, Sept. 25, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a man suspected of stabbing another man Sunday afternoon in Harrisville.

According to Harrisville Police Chief Maxwell Jackson, the 40-year-old male victim was with a woman in a home in Harrisville at about 1:30 p.m., when Cameron Aaron, 26, started beating on the door to get in.

Chief Jackson said the man left the home through the back door and was confronted by Aaron, who allegedly stabbed the man in the chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The woman remained inside the home and was not injured.

Aaron was already on probation for aggravated assault and forgery, but hasn’t made contact with his probation officer as required.

Jackson said a warrant will go out Monday morning from Adult Probation and Parole for absconding probation, as well as a warrant for Aaron’s arrest relating to the Sunday stabbing.

Anyone who sees Aaron or has information as to his whereabouts, should not approach him, but should call Weber Dispatch, 801-629-8221.
