SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Feb. 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are looking for three suspects after vape and tobacco products were stolen from a 7-Eleven in South Jordan Wednesday morning.

South Jordan Police officials said the incident occurred at the 7-Eleven at 10420 S. 4000 West just after 3 a.m.

One suspect took a display of Juul vape tobacco products and other tobacco products and attempted to leave the store, officials said.

The store clerk tried to stop that suspect by grabbing his backpack and the suspect turned and punched the clerk in the face several times. The clerk suffered minor injuries to his lip, officials said.

As the suspects fled the scene, one also stole cigars, while the third acted as a lookout, officials said.

Two of the suspects were black and one was Caucasian and their ages ranged from 17 to 20.

It’s thought the men left the scene in a vehicle though officials do not have a vehicle description and have not said what direction they fled.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call South Jordan police at 801-840-4000.
