Police: Stolen vehicle driven through fence, into house in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police responded to a residence Wednesday night after a car reportedly hit a parked vehicle, ran through a chain link fence, then hit the house.

The accident happened at about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 500 North and 900 West.

According to information from the SLCPD, the driver fled the vehicle after the crash, but was later located and told officers the vehicle was stolen.

The house was not seriously damaged, officials say.
